Sowing Method:

1. Gently nick or file the seed coat. Soak in warm water for 24–48 hours; change water daily.
2. When the seed swells and sprouts, move to a container with heavy loam; cover with 2–3 cm (about 1 in) of soil.
3. Submerge so that 5–10 cm (2–4 in) of water stands above the soil. Keep 25–30°C (77–86°F) in full sun.
4. Do not bury the tender shoot. After 4–6 leaves form, transplant to a larger tub or pond.
